Hi friends,
I'm heading to the
Less Is More challenge. The divas are asking us to repeat, repeat and repeat some more. My family would rather I stop repeating myself, but that's another story for another day. So, I got busy and created this. I own many pairs of glasses, so that I can always have a pair at hand, so I thought the theme quite appropriate.
I got out several stamp sets that had eyeglasses in them and the little Kawai smiley face for the images. I sponged a home-made stencil with some distress inks and stamped the sentiment in Memento sky blue. I used watercolor paper and stamped in Simon Says Stamp hybrid black ink. Then I used a black base.
And then because this was such a fun challenge, I made this one too. This card is specifically for
Time Out Challenges No. 61, Inspired by Words. I had this block stamp of a single crayon and then I added a sentiment, I was fortunate to find that's a perfect match for it. The MISTI tool was invaluable to stamping the individual colored crayons onto a one-layer card.
There are a few days to play along with this challenge, so get a move on it.
Blessings,
Erica
